This is a 16-bit microcontroller familywith a broad peripheral feature set and enhancedcomputational performance. This family also offers a new migration option for those high-performanceapplications which may be outgrowing their 8-bitplatforms, but do not require the numerical processingpower of a Digital Signal Processor (DSP).
