The MB39A134 is a DC/DC converter IC for charging Li-ion battery, which is suitable for down conversion, and uses pulse widthmodulation (PWM) for controlling the charge voltage and current independently.

MB39A134 has a AC adapter detection comparator independent of the DC/DC converter controller, and can control the source ofpower supply to a system. It supports a wide input voltage range, enables low current consumption in standby mode, and cancontrol the charge voltage and charge current with high precision, which is perfect for the built-in Li-ion battery charger used indevices such as notebook PC.
