The HD3SS460 is a high-speed bi-directional passiveswitch in mux or demux configurations. Based oncontrol pin POL the device provides switching toaccommodate connector flipping. The device alsoprovides muxing between 2Ch Data/2Ch Video and all 4Ch Video based on control pin AMSEL.
The device also provides cross points MUX for lowspeed pins as needed in flippable connectorimplementation.
The HD3SS460 is a generic analog differentialpassive switch that can work for any high speedinterface applications as long as it is biased at acommon mode voltage range of 0-2V and hasdifferential signaling with differential amplitude up to1800mVpp. It employs an adaptive tracking thatensures the channel remains unchanged for entirecommon mode voltage range.
Excellent dynamic characteristics of the device allowhigh speed switching with minimum attenuation to thesignal eye diagram with very little added jitter. Itconsumes <2 mW of power when operational and<5μW in shutdown mode, exercisable by EN pin.
