IDT公司的5X1503系列是小型尺寸的可编时钟发生器,采用1 PLL + DCO架构,设计有嵌入晶体振荡器,是OTP可编程,允许有多达3个单独频率输出.5X1503内置了独特的特性如主动节能(PPS)和低功耗DCO,以支持系统日期/时间运行32.768kHz时钟.动态频率控制(DFC)通过外部要求支持四个不同PLL频率间的动态变化,从而降低频率过冲与下冲(ORT).5X1403S还支持广谱时钟以降低EMI.器件内部OTP存储器允许用户存储多达4个单独配置,不用编程在加电时就能加载.也可通过I2C接口再次编程.5X1503支持三种LVCMOS类型输出.两种输出有可编幅度(1V, 1.1V, 1.2V和1.8V).支持用于系统RTC参考时钟32.768kHz耗电小于1.5μA.工作电压1.8V,2 × 2 mm 10-VFQFPN封装.主要用在智能设备(SmartDevice),手持设备,可穿戴设备和手持消费类电子设备.本文介绍了5X1503主要特性和输出特性,主要指标,框图及开发板特性包括开发板套件插座板和评估板电路图以及相关外形图.

The 5X1503 is a series of small form factor programmable clockgenerators intended for low-power, consumer, battery poweredapplications, wearable and smart devices.

The device is a 1 PLL + DCO architecture design with oneembedded crystal. The device is OTP programmable, allowing forup to 3 unique frequency outputs. The 5X1503 has built-in uniquefeatures such as Proactive Power Saving (PPS) and a low powerDCO to support system date/time keeping clock at 32.768kHz.

Dynamic Frequency Control (DFC) supports dynamically changingbetween four different PLL frequencies via external requests withcontrolled frequency changes, reducing frequency overshoot andundershoot (ORT). The 5X1503S device can also support aspread clock for EMI reduction.

An internal OTP memory allows the user to store up to fourindependent configurations that can be loaded on power-upwithout programming. It can then be reprogrammed again throughthe I2C interface.

The 5X1503 supports three LVCMOS type outputs. Two outputshave programmable amplitude. A low-power 32.768kHz clock issupported with only less than 1.5μA current consumption forsystem RTC reference clock needs.

开发板5X1503

The MicroClock development kit is designed to support the 5X1503/5L1503 devices. It provides a convenient way of verifying, configuringand programming the blank parts for MicroClock devices 5X1503 and 5L1503. The IDT Timing Commander™ GUI supports to thedevices for configuration and frequency validation on a socket board through a USB programmer board in USB interface. Thedevelopment kit support programming to MicroClock blank parts either placed into a socket of the board or the blank device soldered onevaluation boards as additional extension boards.
